Plain Text Emails or the more colourful HTML Email?

Should you send your promotional emails in HTML or in Plain Text?
You can choose between sending your promotional emails or your newsletters in HTML or in Plain Text.
There are advantages and disadvantages for both methods. Sending your Newsletters or promo emails in plain text is a safe way if you are building your email campaign yourself, but you will loose the many advantages of HTML delivered email campaigns.

1.HTML messages can take longer to fully load. This is especially true if the recipient has a slow or older modem/internet connection.

2.Different Email accounts will display HTML messages in different ways and unless you are totally in the know of how to build a proper Newsletter which renders perfect in all the different email clients and browsers you should opt for the safer text email, unless you contact a professional web marketing or design company which can develop a professional newsletter for you.  HTML emails can change the format, the size of the font, and even the size of the message and can look very unprofessional to the person receiving it. It may look OK to you at your computer, but that is no guarantee that it will look equally good to someone else.

3.There will be browsers who will not accept the email in HTML and your customer will not be able to see the message.
